The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has once again demonstrated his commitment to the development of sports in the constituency by supporting the Ketu North Municipal Team ahead of the upcoming Inter-District Sports Festival.
The MP donated a range of sports equipment and GH¢10,000 in cash to help the team prepare adequately for the competition and compete with confidence as they represent Ketu North.
The support package includes:
- Jerseys for the boys’ team
- Jerseys for the girls’ team
- 2 footballs
- 3 sets of stockings
- 40 pairs of athletic spikes
- 4 boxes of pull assists
- GH¢10,000 cash
The donation comes at a crucial time as athletes and officials intensify preparations for the festival. The equipment will provide the team with essential resources for training and competition, while the financial support will further assist with other logistical needs.
Hon. Eric Edem Agbana’s intervention highlights his continued support for youth development and sports, recognising the important role sports play in promoting discipline, talent development, teamwork and opportunities for young people.
As Ketu North prepares to compete against other districts, the team now carries not only the hopes of the constituency but also the encouragement and support of its people.
