"Help Us Improve Education Delivery" – MP Eric Edem Agbana Pleads with Ketu North Queen Mothers During Their Visit to Him at Parliament

The Member of Parliament for Ketu North, Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, has made an emotional appeal to the Queen Mothers of the constituency to help improve education delivery, following concerns over the very poor BECE and WASSCE results recorded by students in the area.

Speaking when the Queen Mothers paid a courtesy call on him at the Parliament House, Hon. Agbana expressed deep concern over the consistently poor performance of public schools in the constituency, noting that both BECE and WASSCE results have been very bad in recent times. He described the trend as worrying and pleaded with the Queen Mothers to use their influence and closeness to families to help turn the situation around.

He noted that improving outcomes at both the basic and senior high school levels would require a collective effort, and called on the Queen Mothers to help mobilise parents and communities to take a keener interest in their children's education and support learning at home.

Hon. Agbana pledged to continue working with stakeholders to identify the root causes of the poor examination performance in public schools and to support interventions that would help improve both BECE and WASSCE outcomes for students in the constituency.

The Queen Mothers assured the MP of their commitment to supporting efforts aimed at improving education standards and helping reverse the poor performance trend in public schools within Ketu North.
